A Limited Release- single malt chocolate whisky crafted in the heart of Victoria. Long ago fire shaped this land. Daylesford’s landscape was born of two ancient volcanoes – Mount Franklin and Wombat Hill – whose eruptions layered the region with deep mineral rich chocolate-brown soil. Forged from fire and time the Wombat Hill Cask chocolate whisky draws its character from the ancient volcanic soil. Matured in specially selected casks and infused with the decadent essence of dark chocolate. This whisky reflects the earthy intensity and richness of its namesake hill.
Our Chocolate Whisky begins with the finest Australian grain and pure Mount Franklin water. Carefully matured in charred Apera sherry casks, it draws on the depth and richness of whisky traditions while embracing a bold new spirit of innovation. Styled in the Highland tradition, this whisky unveils indulgent layers of dark chocolate and roasted cocoa, balanced with soft notes of dried fruit, oak, and warm vanilla. A smooth, velvety finish lingers with hints of mocha creating a luxurious whisky experience that is both distinctive and memorable.
